Kathryn Ross turned one week old yesterday so of course we had to have a photo session. Seth and I gave her a bath before we took her picture thinking that she would wake up, but as you can see that didn't happen. We are enjoying our new little family and learning as we go. Even though she is only one week old it is hard to imagine our lives without her.
Her personality is already shining through. She has a dimple on her right cheek. We can see it briefly when she smiles which is probably due to gas:) Kathryn Ross makes all kinds of faces and loves to move her arms all around. I already know that she will probably talk with her hands. As far as sleeping goes she loves to sleep during the day but no as much at night. We try to keep her up during the day but she wants nothing to do with that. So at 3 AM she wants to open her eyes and look around. Hopefully that will only get better as we go. Love to you all.

She is beautiful! The sleeping will come. After 6 weeks life gets normal again...if you can call it that! Can't wait to meet her!!!
ReplyDeleteAh, the joys of the life of a newborn! I'm so happy you are getting to experience such a precious time in KR's life...it goes by SOOO quickly...the sleeping will come and you will forget all about the deprivation...Maybe. Thinking of you often!
