Kathryn Ross is 2 weeks old. She has been so much more alert in this last week. GiGi (my mom) bought her a floor play mat that lights up and plays music and she LOVES IT!!! I wish that I could say that the nights were getting better but they aren't. Poor Seth is not getting much sleep before he has to go to work. I have been enjoying my time at home with her and she is changing so much each day. She also went back to the doctor yesterday and he said that she was doing great. Kathryn Ross now weighs 7ibs 8 oz, almost back to her birth weight. She does have a small sinus (hole) at the top of her bottom that we will have to go to Children's Healthcare in about a month for an ultrasound to make sure that everything is ok, but the doctor says that it is just a precaution. Another big hurdle is that she took her first bottle last night. I think that Seth was really excited to be able to feed her. She is not used to a bottle and at first she was sucking too hard and it was coming out way too fast. But she is a quick learner and got the hang of it:)
